Coach Todd Smith - 14u / Program Owner

Smith played for the  Guardians in '83 and 84'. After a successful collegiate playing career, he became  Head Coach at Becker College and turned the program around in three years.. Smith also coached as an Assistant at Assumption College and  Quinsigamond CC, serving under legendary Coaches Sean O'Connor and Barry Glinski respectively. He later became Head Baseball Coach at  West Boylston High School compiling a record of 185 - 79 over 12 years.  His teams were perennial Division 3powers, winning six league titles, a district title and were state finalists (2009). He also served as  an Associate Scout for the San Francisco Giants for six years evaluating amateur talent throughout New England. Smith took a break from High School Coaching and  Scouting to Coach his son Cody in AAU Baseball. He Coached and ran the powerhouse Central Mass Spartans, guiding them to two New England  titles. In his first season as a SPM Assistant he helped lead the  Guardians to a Central Mass Title.
